The Central District Wrestling Officials Association is offering a $ 500.00 college scholarship to a varsity wrestler graduating this spring with at least a 3.2 grade point average. OHSWCA Board Members,Tommy Rowlands has asked me to help spread the word about an upcoming event that would help fund their wrestling club facility “The Ohio Regional Training Center.” The detailed information is attached. The nuts and bolts: Friday, April 17. Doors open at 5:30 at Buckeye Café. $100/plate. Jim Tressel is the keynote speaker. As you are aware, the Buckeye wrestling staff have worked relentlessly to bring the Buckeyes to national prominence. Let’s thank them by each of us reserving a table of 10. Please feel free to invite boosters, parents, friends, yes and even officials… Seats are limited and a sellout would be very impressive.

State Duals Proposal from the State Coaches Association

Wrestling Officiating Classes
Classes will be conducted at Dublin Davis Middle School, 2400 Sutter Parkway, Dublin, Ohio 43016, beginning Monday March 2 at 7:00 PM and culminating with the exam on April 20, 2009. Class will be every Monday night at 7pm.

What's cool about this class is that at the end of next season, you will be ending your 2nd year.
The fee is $60 and can be paid the first night of class.
