Please remember to fill out the attached application for any of your State Tournament Wrestlers that qualify for Academic All-Ohio honors and bring it to the State Tournament (submit at packet pickup). The form must be signed by you the coach and as well as the building principal or guidance councelor.
1. Qualify for the OHSAA State wrestling championships
2. Have a high school accumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale. GPA must be accumulated over at least 2 semesters and calculated at the end of the semester prior to the student-athlete’s current wrestling season (freshmen are ineligible for this award). If your school does not use a 4.0 scale, then please have your guidance counselor convert the average to a 4.0 scale equivalent.

2009 Skin Form - This is the NEW REQUIRED for

Please post this to all CDWCA members to remind them to log-on to the NWCA website's Optimal Performance Calculator and create a weigh-in form for each team competing this week. The OHSAA is now requiring that all high school teams (9th, JV, & V) present a NWCA weigh-in form at each contest weigh-in. The print-out will list each wrestler's wt. class for that particular event and his Individual Wt. Loss Plan Lowest Eligible Wt. for that specific competition date. Thanks, John Riggs - State Rep
